My friend once told me that I saved them from suicide by just listening and talking to them when they felt unloved. Since then, I’ve been trying to slowly change the world, one person at a time. Even if I give nothing but a smile to strangers, I know that it’s good for them because smiles are contagious. People might say I trust too easily, I just tell them: Sometimes, all people want is to know that someone out there trusts them, no matter what.
