I used to be able to approach anyone and just start talking. I’ve had some pretty interesting conversations with random strangers. I’ve become too cynical lately. I assume that everyone around me is crazy, high, or just plain irritating. That could be a side effect of working in a bar for the last few years. Also, I’m not as curious about others as I once was. Am I becoming self-centered?
