Once I am back in the states taking an EMT-B course is something I am planning on doing. Mainly for the knowledge and gained experience. I can honestly say I did not have a lot of interest in medicine/health care until I took a Wilderness First Responder course. I discovered it’s actually something that I found fascinating and really enjoy. I view taking the EMT course as a stepping stone, the exact path it’ll lead is still open, but it’s something I want to pursue.
