expand my music collection

I was very proud of myself today. I scoured the wilds of JB Hi-Fi, but managed to restrain myself even though I found loads and loads of goodies. Instead, I came out with two albums – Nixon (Lambchop) and Stand Up (Dave Matthews Band). The latter was only $10, so I was absolutely ecstatic about that. However, I hope it’s not an indication of the album’s quality. It’s their latest release, so will no doubt comprise at least part of a set when I go see them in April.

I think this is where I am going to start with the expansion of my collection. I first heard them when I was overseas last year, and immediately fell in love with their ecclectic style. Upon my return, I purchased “Is a Woman,” but stopped there. I am definitely going to buy another of their albums within the next two weeks.
