get my driver's license

I have had two lessons on the road (in traffic lol). Driving is interesting. Gotta work on my steering. The instructor say’s it is like steering a bike. ummm, I think not.

Found a school and completed in class portion. yippy! Ready for the road.

I need to get going on this goal.
Next week: find a school!

Last weekend I drove to the mall! It was stressful, but I did it! I was going sooo slow at one point that I got honked, but my cousin told me pay them no mind just make sure you can control the car.

Called up a few driving schools this week. This goal has to be completed early in the new year!!! Perhaps I need to register before the year is over??? hmmm

I have been practicing. Mostly, driving down deserted roads BUT still behind the wheel.

I finally got on the road, or at least behind the wheel in a parking lot. It was my first lesson behind the wheel. I feel like I just had to get started. Looks like a schedule is in order to keep up the learnings. The instructor is interesting. I’ll tell that story another time. :)

I have not followed up on calls from the driving school, but THIS GOAL is the TOP goal for 2009. I have to get this done. And the public transit strike in my city is definitely helping. It has been 29 days!!! Gone is the question of want, I need to drive.
