Unfortunately I didn’t get a preserving pan for Xmas so no jam this weekend. I will go and buy one in the sales though and soon my jam factory will be in operation (hmm, that sounds slightly rude even though it’s not meant to)

My mother taught cookery 4 years ago

so when I was little and it was a rainy day i would help out in the kitchen (i.e. make a mess and try to lick the spoon as often as possible). I used to be able to make jam and want to make it again (I’m going through a Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall phase). I spoke to my mother during the bonsai tree gifting incident and now I think I might be getting a preserving pan for Xmas. Place your orders here!
