Have a little bit of pointless fun every day

So I did the majority of my Xmas shopping today which wasn’t pointless fun, however on the way back I went in to my barber, the DVD rental place and my local convenience store. I wished everyone Happy Christmas. They were all surprised (pleasantly so I hope) and it made them feel better to know that I was working tonight so that was fun!

Following on from a conversation with Absnasm I was thinking of the song “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. I went down the road today whistling it past my neighbour who is having some building work done and as I continued on I heard a couple of the builders strike up the chorus. I didn’t intend to start a karaoke but it made me smile and it certainly didn’t have a point!

was to stand on the platform looking up at the ceiling and see how many people stopped to look at whatever I was looking at. It was helped by my radio going off and me managing to have a conversation that the caller understood but made me look like I was reporting on something unusual! In the end one customer asked what had happened so I told them a mouse had become trapped behind the ceiling panels and we were working how to free it!

Todays pointless fun is to make a new goal. The goal is gonna be “find out if anyone is using my pictures as their desktop wallpaper”

I used the company car and took the scenic route to the depot. Now I know it’s hard to imagine North London as scenic but it can be interestig travelling through parts of town that normally you speed beneath on the train. The roads were practically clear what with it being Sunday night. It was fun, it had no point, job done!

as i was trawling through 43T and thought it sounded great. Also a good one for a team I think. Maybe I will send out an invite to the usual suspects and we can see how we can spread it. After all, we could all use some fun, pointless or not. This goal allows for the sillier stuff that makes us smile for no good reason!
