So the story of Aphie and Paris goes....

I am une petite peau of a francophile. I have wanted to go to Paris since before I could truly comprehend what it was.
My mother promised to take me, after my HSC. I moved out of her house a week after finishing highschool and she didn’t speak to me for six months, so that blew that plan out of the water.
She promised to take me for her fortieth. My alcoholic uncle (her youngest brother) who was staying with her went on a binge and crashed the car and the savings she had for the trip vanished – she didn’t tell me this, just declared it to be too expensive. (That was the trip I was previously so excited about, under this entry)
I am going to England, to work and live. I am hoping to spend my 25th birthday in Paris this year, because it is just a short skip and hop across the channel.
