Read more books

Got the complete works of Jane Austen for Christmas, so once I finish the Tawny Man I’ll get started on those. I’ve read Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility – the latter of which is one of my favourite books of all time – so I’m really looking forward to reading some more Austen. I think I might start with Emma…

In other news, I have three chapters left of The Golden Fool, and then it’s on to Fool’s Fate, the third and final part of the trilogy. I’ve actually found myself liking GF a lot more this time round…maybe FF wont spark the same frustration and hatred in me that it did on first reading! Heh. :-)

This year I barely read anything that wasn’t a newspaper or a textbook. I used to read almost everyday, and there was never a time in which I didn’t have at least one book on the go. But, as I got busier and busier, I somehow ran out of time for books, and in 2006 I almost never read for my own enjoyment. So, seeing as my exams are over and the summer is stretching ahead, I’ve decided it’s time to start reading again!

Since exams, I’ve reread The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb (my very favourite books in the entire world) and today I just started Fool’s Errand, the first in the Tawny Man series.
