as of today:
I have 58 books done, 402 to go....but…
One of the sites I was using to link to changed their preview policy, so now you can only preview chapter 1 instead of the full book. That knocks a bunch off the list and now it is no longer 460 to be done to catch up.
But I am going to keep the 460 goal, and just fill in the difference with newer finds.
On another note, I am still doing this, but much slower than I had wanted. The good pc is dead and I am working on an old slow 233mhz, 64mb RAM, P1 on 33.6k dialup, but I am still moving along. It will just take a lot longer to catch up at this rate.

as of today:
I have 45 books done, 415 to go.
I have started tracking this on Joe’s Goals since it is much easier to just click the box every time I add another book. I’ll still report progress here from time to time, but not daily.

I have wordpress all set up. Adsense is added. Moving content from old site to new one and expanding it to make it better and more useful.
I have 22 books done, 438 to go.
I am going to try to get at least 1 book added each day.
I have to do this. Over 4000 people a month are counting on me. They need this! (not to mention that the authors of the books could use the publicity too)
I just have to remember why I started doing this in the first place and what my goal was.
Purpose: This is for the financially strapped students that have to choose between food and books. This is so they can have both. They shouldn’t have to starve themselves to afford books to learn from.
Goal: To find and list every legal freely available programming related ebook that is on the web and create the best resource on the planet to find materials to learn programming for free.
