Daily: Reflect on 5 things for which I'm grateful.

1. a great bunch of studnets in my mentoring group today. a little shy but great fun.
2. getting that photocopying done!
3. surviving the day despite my horrible night’s sleep.
4. not ripping off my split nail but waiting and clpping it off properly
5. back to class next week! being on campus all day today got me all excited :D

1. my bf rang me to ‘see how i am’ (i’ve been sick) dreamy sigh i am so lucky to have someone to do that for me!

2. i have a busy and fun-filled week coming up

3. i’m finally getting glasses – i have contacts but i really need a pair of glasses just for when i’m home in the evenings watching tv

4. i picked up little cloud by the whitlams at the library

5. it’s another beautiful day! (where was all this sun while i had time to go to the beach?!)

today i am grateful…

1 – for finally getting some alone time with D this morning

2 – for the BEAUTIFUL weather today! We’ve all missed days like today this past summer.

3 – for going to see jane austen book club with a good friend today – it is a great movie

4 – that D and I have managed to plan a day tomorrow where we can do some of the things on our ‘to do/excursions’ list. It’s been a while since we’ve had a day out in the city together it’s going to be great.

1 – for catching up with good mates last night

2 – for D letting me keep the Wii at my place today!
3 – for my beutiful pink rose

4 – for cups of tea

5 – that D has the week off

1 – that D surprised me and he IS back in Sydney for V day :D

2 – that at the staff meeting yesterday I really felt like I fit in to the team now

3 – that i got paid yesterday phew!

4 – for finally getting organised and sending those keep-this-date-free invites for my afternoon tea

5 – that school has gone back which means i can get back to my volunteer work soon :)

today i am grateful…

1 – that even if i don’t know which ones to choose, at least i have plenty of hopes and dreams and opportunities.

2 – dinner tonight with the girls

3 – actually studied some italian tonight – uni goes back in 22 days argh!

4 – my bestie and i are going shopping next monday. it’s been a while since we last did… it’ll be great

5 – finally did that quiz due in tomoro and it was actually kinda fun

1 – for buying ‘coming around again’ by carly simon – so many memories to that song

2 – for finally deciding with the family what to do for my 21st

3 – that I’ve decided to get a different haircut… it’s time for a change

4 – that Em had a great birthday weekend

5 – for restraining myself and not eating dessert after that big dinner on Sat night!

today i am grateful…

1 – that D & I made the pilgramige to our special spot last night even in the pouring(!) rain

2 – for the italian radio program on at 8 every morning

3 – that my new heels i wore to the opera last night don’t give me blisters :)

4 – for grapes. i’ll never get enough of them

5 – extra shift at work tomoro

today i am grateful:

1 – that it is february and i still have a job! that means i should be able to keep it when i go back to uni in march

2 – that i have a tan

3 – for having the time to invite my bestie over tonight to have a heath leger tribute night on the new big tv!

4 – for not buying lunch today but taking it from home – every cent counts

5 – that i have orchestra opportunities coming up over the next few months :)

1 – that i didn’t do anything horridly embarrassing in front of D’s friends last sat

2 – that i’m going away tomoro!

3 – for discovering regina spektor

4 – for beautiful weather around the harbour today

5 – for being diligent filing my nails this last week
