keep my plants alive

I recently “adopted” a whole bunch of plants from a client who ws leaving the country – included was a lotus pond! So cool :) But it weighed like a huge bag of bricks. A couple of friendly guys from the nearby carwash helped me moved it in… phew.

BUT! In my desperate effort to move it to a better spot, i popped it down and the pot cracked! *&%#!!! Was so mad at myself for doing that. So mow i have a lotus pond – with no water. The soil will hold water, but it will drain out like any regular pot. Duh! On the good side, it’s still alive.

That must be a good sign at least :P

Funny thing is that the “ignored” plant in the bathroom (1/4 cup of water a day – that’s it) is thriving. The fern in the living room? Dying… :(

The abandorned water plant that i thought was going to die? removed all the water, and guess what? It’s surviving – duh!
