just backk from my recce trip in melbourne! had a great time there with my aunt : see http://www.veldainozzieland.blogspot.com ; but other than tt.. the beauty of melbourne university blew me off. ^^

loved it so much the moment i stepped into the schooli felt i wanted to belong there. wish me luck!

recce trip seems like it’s confirmed! went with mom to paragon today, wanting to book tickets.. but it seems that booking online is more cost-efficient. haha.

SQ! for the first time. we must support singapore mahh. anws, i need to start planning my itinerary. dont even know what im going there for if i dont plan man.

chinese new year just around the corner. work for a month after tt. i think i can handle tt before the melbourne trip, dont you think?

just about a month and a half to go before the recce trip. ineed to start planning,but with exams and all looming up, where got time?! haha.

im excited, though.

promise solemnly to start planning when i come home. hah!

suiyi is back from melbourne! missed her loads.. and planning some time to talk about melbourne with her. =) yayys.

managed to talk to mr azhar, my lecturer, today. just a small 5 min talk actually. heard that our course is currently getting accreditation from the local unis at the moment. just want to know exactly how much credits transfer they are gg to give to the course. 1 year is probably the best we can expect, i think.

told mr azhar about my plans as well. talked a little about the scholarships i could get and stuff. think he can help! ^^ he’s my lecturer after all, eh?

australian uni fair at orchard yesterday. woots! it was really fun because we sort of grabbed all the prospectus we could find. got monash, deakin, unimelb.. all the melbourne schools. didnt know that there was actually quite a lot i dont understand. but everyone’s rather surprised that we have already started looking into these options even though we had still one and a half years left to school.

well, nothing’s wrong with early preparation ehs? ^^

plans are going along well. aunt has agreed to allow me to bunk at her apartment in melbourne.now its just deciding when to go. the next holidays i have are unbelievably long. i wonder if they teach anythig in school because by giving me such a long holiday i dun know exactly what i should do for it!

12 feb – 29 apr. goodness! thats 2 1/2 months. inside this holiday, i should go for perhaps three weeks? a month? that needs money as well.

need to start creating a list of why im going anyways.

things to do in my recce trip to melbourne:
1. check out unimelb, monash campuses.
2. find out about registrations.
3. learn the public transport routes that take me these two campuses.
4. find alternatives of living in melbourne.

am right now planning a trip in march to melbourne to recce. 4Ks, as william would say. kia kia kua kua. jess is probably flying over to utah, andre to guangzhou, andy to confirm somewhere. hahas, we all probably wont be around during the next long break. next sem when it ends means completing two years as students in NYP. the third year will be filled with lots and lots of waking up early and routine days in school or on attachments. kinds looking forward to it though.

need to email my aunt so as to ask her whether i can bunk at her place when i go melbourne. the last time i was there (dec 2004) i loved it lahs. loved the streets at 7, 8pm; the hustle and bustle of the afternoon.. loved my aunt’s bathroom in the morning, the 19 degree weather, poppy the cat..

best of all, i love being able to use scarves. =P

probably this is what made me feel like gg there and experiencing it all on my own.

i need to learn to take care of myself. and this means planning this recce trip, and figuring out what exactly do i want after i graduate from NYP. im kinda excited about the future. im eighteen, after all. ganbana!!
