and riding my bicycle between 10 and 20 miles each Tuesday. Sadly, my walking buddy is moving to Missouri in 10 days, so I’ll either have to find another walking buddy or get used to walking by myself. It’s a lot better with someone to talk with. Now I just have to get back into the habit of working out every other day. It’s either that or give up sweets and THAT isn’t going to happen any time soon.

I’ve been walking every other day for almost three months – usually alternating days with the days that I work out. It’s not an easy since my former walking partner has a 9-5 job and is getting ready for Med school, which means she has zero time to spare. It just means that I have to be much more motivated to do it on my own.
I have been making sure to go for a walk every other day for the past six months, and sometimes two or three walks in a day (on those crazy and infrequent days when I have enough time and nervous energy to do so. I’m trying to alternate with the days when I’m working out, or at least SUPPOSED to be working out. oy!
The more I walk, the easier it gets. But having temperatures in the 40s & 50s makes it much easier than when it’s in the teens. More fun to walk with someone, but my walking partner isn’t always available.
okay, it was only about a 2-3 mile walk around a local park and the nearby streets, but it was brisk and I aim to do it again this week. That’s a start.
I was walking every day for almost 6 months. Then it got cold and I became a slug! Ugh! Probably ought to stop whining and bundle up and do it. Grrrr.
