Trying Again

Although I have been going to the gym, I have not lost any weight – I have only maintained my weight. But a review of my diet is the key to this.
I have toast with butter and honey for breakfast, more toast with butter or peanut butter and a mocha for morning tea, I then have a healthy lunch, then pastry and another mocha for afternoon tea and then dinner (which is usually healthy).
I can see that my morning tea, breakfast and afternoon tea and major bad areas that are stopping me from losing weight. I am going back onto my calorie controlled diet for the next two weeks to help stop this bad eating.

I read in the paper yesterday about a man who was an underwear model and also a gym instructor. He decided to pile on 40kg to become 120kg to understand why overweight/obese people find it hard to lose weight.
One thing he noticed was that the more he ate, the more he felt like eating! He was sugar and carbs overload.
Last night I decided not to eat dinner. I wasn’t hungry – dinner was simply an event rather than a need. I went to bed slightly hungry and drunk a glass of water. This morning I woke and didnt feel that hungry either – however, I did have some breakfast to fuel my day.
It is interesting to pay attention to how you feel. Are you REALLY hungry or are you just bored or is it just an ‘event.’
Going to test this theory further this week.

This goal is non-existant. I have totally lost the plot – mainly due to some personal goal issues causing me to eat into depression.
As normal I want to try and get back on top of this again – and try and get that motivation back.

I think I need rules to lose weight as I am not losing weight at all and its to do with my lifestyle.
Some to start off with:
1. No dinners out except for Saturday or Sunday.
2. Pastry day is Sunday only.
3. Carbs are only allowed for breakfast.
4. Fruit only for snacks.

So I missed going to the gym for most of March and I didnt eat healthy. I put on weight. :(

So its coming to nearing 3months. I haven’t put on weight but then again I havent lost a huge amount. I have been sticking to going to the gym no less than 3 times a week and last week was the only time I went once. I am proud of this.
I have realised that in order to lose more weight I have focus on eating healthy. I am not eating badly but I think I just started to get into the habit or snacking badly and drinking coffee (which leads to pastry eating).
March should be a power months for me. Its the third month and I will be eating healthy.

YAY! Another week – over 2,500 calories burnt! :D
I have notice my waist shrinking a little bit.
Now I enter…the HUMP week.
