I kinda lapsed on this goal after a week. Talk about tough!
But I have decided that it was actually very beneficial to my health and well-being. So I am taking up this goal again today. :)

When my housemate said I was addicted to my computer, I thought it was time to re-start this goal.
I allow myself time to get online after work up until I cook dinner (which is is usually 6.30/7pm), then I shut my laptop.
Funnily enough, in two days, I have re-arranged the dining room, sorted my mess in the corner of our room, cleaned my room, dusted the loungeroom, posted my mail, went through my paperwork, made a list of things to do, and got back into reading my books. WOW!
Also, I have noticed that I sleep better too. I can’t believe how much my computer affects my sleeping pattern. I am actually having deeper sleeps and waking up more refreshed.
This has been going good!!! I have spent time cooking, studying, learning spanish and going to the gym instead of sitting on the computer. :D
My new rule is that I must log off my computer between 9.30pm and no later than 10pm.
I tried it last week. I noticed I sleep better if I do this and my mind is more rested.
I spend an excessive amount of time at, and on, the computer.
I am going to look at reducing the amount of time I spend at the laptop.
I will think about what I want to achieve and adjust my goal accordingly. :)
