26th August

Yesterday was a mixed bag, I didn’t get much work done but I did manage some cleaning, my laundry, swam 100 lengths and FINALLY managed to roast that aubergine and had a delicious supper of of roast aubergine, cous cous, salad and tzatziki… yum.

TODAY:

- Report at least 3 Pomodoros!
- Get ready for boss coming back

Adventure

- Work out and yoga…
- Reading for pleasure



25th August

Life is kind of boring at the moment but I will try and think of it more as simple and uncomplicated with time to do things I need to do…....

I know its crazy to keep doing the same thing and expect different results so this time I’m going to try and do things in a different order and see if that makes me more productive…

- caught the mouse that had been eating the food in my cupboard, and my cupboard too, and released it this morning
- I will get ready for my boss’ return today… lots to do

- Adventure is a bit thin on the ground at the moment but I am going to try and have a spirit of adventure about my life in general at the moment. It’s all an adventure after all.

Action and adventure plans and progress so far...

This month I need action and adventure mainly in my work life. It has been disappointingly boring and samey these past few months and that is getting me down. I also need to work on my fitness and my Thai language which I feel did not much progress last month.

Action:
  • work harder and longer hours
  • complete the data analysis
  • complete the new report revisions
  • get up to date with everything
  • stick to my fitness plan
  • study and practice Thai every day
Adventure:
  • find new and interesting things to do at work
  • get out of the office more!
  • learn more new things

So far I have:

  • completed the data analysis
  • got involved in a new project at work
  • started Thai lessons again after a few weeks off
  • started week 1 of fitness plan and am aching because of it :)
Adventure:
  • will be going on a 3 day trip next week
