sort through one more moving box

As soon as I get some more sleep…..............

that I had the energy for this one at the moment. Sooooooo tired….....

a couple more boxes tonight, but really only managed to sort through about half, as i was looking for a few items. Needless to say that my dining table is once again covered with clutter, waiting for me to clean tomorrow.

Still, I can see the end getting closer little by little now and it feels so much lighter with each box dealt with.

three boxes down and one bag of paperwork! I’m starting to have small piles of stuff that need a finer sorting such as photo’s that go back to way back when.

Can’t face the photo’s at the moment, as they include wedding photo’s & I can’t stand the thought of looking at repeated photo’s of my ex-monster. Have allocated them to a box to sort out when I have some upbeat company.

Amazing how much excess paperwork I’ve accumulated over the years!

Managed to sort through another one today. Also managed to clear approx two boxes worth of unsorted things from other boxes that had accumulated in the dining room.

Amazing what you can get done without a toddler on your heels! :-)

don’t even want to look at how many more are left. The wonderful part about emptying the boxes is that I’m finding things to pass on in each box, so I’m taking care of litle bits of numerous goals while I do so.

while looking for my acrylic paints to do some painting. Have already listed another item on freecycle as a result, which is being collected tomorrow.

I’ve left the boxes in a bit of a jumble, but have a clearer mind about what can go over the next few weeks.

Also sorted through the pantry tonight, much cleaner! YAY! Have slipped on the kitchen goal for the moment as it’s getting pretty late and well past my bedtime. :-(

Since we’ve moved house to our current home a little over a month ago, I’ve barely had time to unpack after my initial flurry of unpacking when we first moved in.

As a result of no longer having a studio space, I’ve had to store my plan cabinet along with my large easel etc. in a little garden shed out the back. As a result, I’ve had the dining room table piled over a foot high with papers and prints etc. from my cabinet. I finally managed to sort through it tonight and ended up having a really good purge. Gone are life drawings dating back up to ten years. All of my pastel sheets and other drawing sheets have been culled out and are going to a non profit org tomorrow for their art therapy groups. I had to cut down my unused print papers ouch, in order to fit into a storage tub that I purchased today for the ppurpose. I’ve also sorted through all of my lino tiles & woodblocks which has been great.

Best of all I found a series of prints that I’d forgotten about that I can pop onto my etsy store.

Now…...if only someone could purchase my etching press….....

Have managed to get through two boxes so far today. One holding all of my cutlery etc. Have just finished washing all of this. Once I’ve sorted these it’s off to get some safety locks for the drawers! My little one can get into the new drawers too easily & I can’t live with the knives on top of the bench.
