crochet a scarf

here it is, kinda boring but i love it anyway. :)

But I am all done with my very first scarf. I gave it to the person I made it for and it seemed like he liked it. I have already started another one for myself, and after that I am going to make some for Christmas presents. Crocheting is a lot of fun and surprising relaxing. Also, if you do it on your breaks at work it keeps the annoying people away. :)

I have been taking the scarf to work with me and working on it a little each day. I am getting really close to being done and I think it looks really good for being the first real thing I have ever crocheted. I have hit a bit of a hiatus for now though because I am almost out of yarn so I am going to have to wait until this weekend to go get one more skein the I should have it done by the end of next week. I showed what I have done to the person that it is for and I think he liked it ( hope he was telling the truth). I will post a photo of it when it is all done. :)

I worked on my scarf today and it is looking really good, for my first project ever. I think if I work on it a little more tomorrow I will get it all done. Woo Hoo.

Well, I have started the scarf for my friend at work. It is brown and wool and lovely AND about 1/2 of the way done. I bet if I were to actually sit down and work on it for an hour or two it could be all done. I am going to give it some nice fringe. :)

Well, I have began to read my crochet book and I am starting to get the hang of it. A little more practice and I will be on my way.

my best friend got me a sweet how to book for crocheting. it looks amazing and since i am going to have the next few days off i am going to give it a go. :)

if i can learn how to do this soon i can make some for christmas! i need to get on it since i want to give only handmade gifts for christmas. :)

My friend gave me the how-to book, some yarn and a hook so I am all set to go. I have only learned how to do a chain stitch so far but it doesn’t seem like it is going to be too hard. Pretty soon I will be wipping out all kinds of scarfs. :)

briana, by friend, said she will give me a hook and a book so that i can learn! she just has to find it then i am on my way!
