January 12, 2007 I got my diploma in the mail. I didn’t feel like I’d really finished college until then. I ended with a GPA of 3.18, not too bad considering how I bombed photography class a few times.
Now, for the rest of my life.

December 9, 2006. That was the day of commencement. I’m so glad to finally be done, but I won’t feel like I’m really finished until I get my diploma in the mail.
Now. . .the real world.
The whole thing went by pretty fast, though. I guess my parents were more proud than I was. Graduating didn’t seem like that much of a deal to me. I had to realize that many people don’t get the opportunity, but everyone doesn’t have to go to college. It doesn’t guarantee success. For me, though, it was a necessary transitional period.
It’s been five years about, and I’m finally graduating from college this summer. However, I’ll still have one more photography class to take in the fall before I fully complete my degree. It’s gonna be scary, because I really need to start looking at my employment options. I’m so used to just going to class and not doing much else.
