Well, I finished The Picture of Dorian Gray a few months ago, and rather enjoyed it.
For my next selection, I chose to read Crime & Punishment by Dostoyevsky. It seems really interesting, but I’m at a point in the beginning where it’s really hard for me to get engaged in the story. The plot has yet to really take off, but I’m trying to stick with it.

I used to read all the time back in middle school. I still read whatever I can get my hands on, but it’s mostly magazines. I really want to read a greater variety of literary books. For example, a lot of books that were on summer reading lists I’ve never read, but I want to.
There’s actually starting to be a list of books that I’ve started reading and have yet to finish. The are The Chosen, A Separate Peace, and The Picture of Dorian Gray. Right bought Dorian Gray a few months ago, and then stopped reading it after losing interest. Now I’ve started reading it again. It’s an interesting story.
One day while I was browsing Barnes & Noble, I came across the writings of Dostoevsky. I really want to start reading his work, but I’m resolved to finish the books I already have first.
