make a budget

Well, we did up a budget. It’s detailed, and I’m sure it will need revision as we go, but it’s done. Today is Day 1 of Living with a Budget. We shall see how it goes, but I feel good about it. We worked in money for each of us to spend however we want. We worked in charitable donations, retirement money, college money for the kids, save money, repairs, etc. Wish me luck!

My husband and I need to carve out some time and work on this together. Things have been hectic the last couple of weekends, so we’ll see what happens. We really do need to do it, though.
