I’ve done pretty well with saving. I would have around a grand saved up, but I bought Brandon and myself a bed. I have around $500 saved right now. I won’t be getting money back with taxes, because something messed up with my current job. And with working nearly 40 hours every two weeks, I’m hardly making $500. SUCKS! But, I’m still saving! Hopefully, I’ll be getting some money from George Bush’s plan to help the economy. That’ll go straight to savings.

I want to save $100 per paycheck starting at the beginning of 2008. I’d love to say start NOW, but the holidays are coming up, and I’d like to go to Colorado. And I still have fees to pay.
But saving $100 a paycheck would give me $200 a month. $200 times 12 months is $2,400. That would be the spending money I would have for my Semester at Sea trip. That would be nice, eh?
I think I can pull it off. Oh, I forgot about taxes! I’ll throw that money in there, too! That’ll get me up a few hundred.
