purchase consciously: organic, local, fair trade...

So I went to Tom’s Farm which is located in Corona which is an awesome place. They have real grape juice and peanut butter it was so much fun. Needless to say I got a bunch of locally grow/made food this weekend. Also when I bought my yoga mat for class I bought the eco friendly version that is reinforced with jute which grows fast and is just fantastic.

so far i have been focusing on cleaning supplies and personal hygiene stuff. When I haven’t been using my diva cup i’ve been buying organic non bleached pads and tampons. I’ve been buying and using this really great lavender laundry soap thats perfect and not over powering it’s nice to have clothes that don’t smell like chemicals. Today at target i finally found dryer sheets which i am just estatic about getting to use. I haven’t got to many cleaning supplies yet i’ve got one all purpose cleaner and a bathroom cleaner however i did make my own mop water since i couldn’t find non chemically pine sol stuff.

i bought two bars of chocolate yesterday fair trade and also have been buying earth friendly house cleaners and laundry soap YAY!!!

so far i have been searching the web for fair trade and bookmarking things i want and reading about the people who make them. Hopefully when i get paid i can start buying some of them.
