Well Chris and I finally got engaged—-he did it over Thanksgiving with both of our families there and it was perfect! Apparently he had the ring for a while that little stinker and was waiting for the perfect time and place! Hooray! Our wedding is planned for August 16th!

Ok not really so much the ring but my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 1/2 years and just recently bought a house together which I live in. I am ridiculously impatient right now and I never thought I would be that girl. I found out from my mom and her big mouth that back in may he had found a ring he liked—-fast forward to november and still no ring! Chris is big on suprises and things so I know he is trying to make it perfect but honestly I just want to get married. I mean we have the house and we are seriously best friends and I can’t imagine my life without him. I am ready to take that next step! Anyway I am hoping to get engaged around Christmas but the only bummer is that I have always wanted a Christmas or Fall wedding but I don’t want to wait a year to get married because we just plan on going and having a destination wedding and then having the big reception party when we return. Anyway I am sick of talking about it until we are both blue in the face and ready for it to happen!!!
