lost 3 pounds! 2 years ago

okay, so i havent even been trying as hard lately…like barley working out, and eating less, and i lost 3 pounds in 3 weeks! which doesnt sound like much, but for me it is! i can’t lose weight ever, and i finally have started!
unfortunatly, i feel gross, and i really want to get rid of my love handles..for GOOD. therefore i actully need to start doing some more excercises and crunches to get rid of it! i NEED to wear a bikini (good-bye tankini) by spring break for the beach!

So unfortunatly i didnt lose any weight this week..and i worked out 5 days total! the only problem is that i haven’t changed my eating habits enough..i think thats the hardest thing for me to do, change what i eat, i love junk food, so when i’m hungrey thats what i head for. Anyone have some ideas for how to break my bad eating habits?! Anyways, not losing weight this past week just means that i need to lose 2 pounds this coming week, in order to be back on track! i can do this!

so here is my quick update..
my new plan which i have found to be a lot more reasonable than any other plan i have tried before, is that i will lose 1 pound a week (which i started a week ago, and have done!) for the next 5 months which will bring me to a total weight loss of 20 pounds, (in 5 months i have spring break, so i want to be able to look pretty good in a bikini) and although my final goal isn’t to lose only 20 pounds, i think that it’s a good place to start, my total weight loss goal is 40 pounds, but i can deal with the last 20 pounds, once i’ve lost the first 20 so it doesnt seem like i won’t ever make it…im so excited because i have already accomplished one week of my new plan! i am SO going to do this!! =)



is it worth it? 2 years ago

this is so hard to do, i have been trying to lose weight seriously for at 4 months and i havent shed a pound. It feels pointless to me almost, and i’m not looking for pity or sympathy or whatever, its just that i like have the days when i feel like everything i do is pointless, and i just eat a ton of junk, and dont care. i know i should go workout extra hard tomarrow or something, but it doesn’t feel like i want to…i didnt think losing weight would be THIS much work, and this discouraging, i mean i know i want to look really good, but then i have my days that just bring me back to where i started…
im just wondering if its even worth trying?
help me out with some ideas maybe?

so i was watching that “i want to look like a high school cheerleader again” show, which i thought was going to be really dumb, when actually it was really good…it has like people with there weight between 130’s and 160’s which is my weight range, and its like the competition to lose weight, and see how much they can lose in a week basically…so from that inspiration, i’m going to see how much weight i can lose (my goal is 3-4 pounds), by exercising a TON and eating healthy for 1 week…and keep the weight i lose off…
we’ll see..

So this past week i worked our only once and it was lifting..
so i haven’t done any cardio. On top of that i haven’t eaten a single thing that was healthy, and i’ve been eating late at night. Tomarrow will be a bad day…it’s time to weigh in meaning i will have a lot of work to do…

Alright so i started my 9 month plan (to lose 45 pounds) 1 month and 1 week ago, and i have only lost 1 pound as of yesterday morning.
However the other day i was talking to a fitness consultant, who told me that losing more than 7-8 pounds would be unhealthy, and that although losing the 45 pounds is a great goal, i don’t necissarily need to lose that much, and i just need to tone up, so now my goal is to lose 30-35 pounds in the next 8 months, because i figure i still need to lose some weight but probably not as much as i had originally thought.

Yesterday i ran for 40 minutes at 6.0-7.5 mph which i was extreamly proud of!
Today i ran a mile in 9:48 and ran an additional +10 minutes after that, which i was proud of as well! =)

im workin’ at it, and it will pay off! i can feel it!

okay so i am determined to lose at LEAST 10 pounds by the end of November, which is when the swimming unit is in my PE class. So i want to look really good!
I’m deffinitly going to make this goal!

gained 1 pound 2 years ago

So i gained back 1 pound back of the only 2 i’ve lost…
i ended up getting discouraged, and ended up not working out, and eating junk food all day long.
which means that im going to have to do an extra hour on the treadmill tomarrow!! ahh…my 5 pound weightloss goal for the month isn’t going as well as planned.



Down 2 pounds 2 years ago

i am now at 158, and down 2 pounds since the begining of september, which is alright i guess…although my goal is to be at 155 by October 1…meaning i have a little over a week to lose 3 pounds. Which i could deffinitly do, and you know what? im going to. I promised myself i would, therefore i will. Today i did go the the Club, so i worked out for about and hour, with some cardio, and weights.

so here goes the next 10 days of working out a little extra, and eating way healtier, than this past week!!!
