First...Crochet!

I am going to learn to crochet first because I heard it was easier. I am trying to do it by looking at how-to books but I am still having difficulties. I think I am making the chain stitches too tight. Anyhow, hopefully I will go visit my mom this weekend and maybe she can show me how to crochet. Once I have that mastered I will move onto knitting :)
