It's a start...

I participated in Illustration Friday (www.illustrationfriday.com) this last week and plan to do so again this week. I need to get in the habit of sketching everyday… I feel like I haven’t in so long and my drawing skills are rusty. I’m also learning Corel Painter—it’s oh so cool. I’d like to eventually be able to market my work and land some freelance illustration projects. But right now I need to concentrate on drawing so that I can improve my portfolio.
