Visit 40 different countries before my passport expires.

got one stamp in dobovoa again.

Got a single stamp for this last trip through Croatia and into Montenegro.

got a stamp coming into paris, a stamp leaving slovenia, and a stamp coming into croatia.

i’ve been to france, germany, austria, slovakia, and croatia.
plus costa rica, panama, and madrid, that makes 9. but very few stamps to show for it.

I’m totally falling behind on this. I’m in Costa rica now. I’ll be in Panama tomorrow. Bosnia and Italy still seem like they might happen.

Still haven’t hit mexico or canada. I should make plans for those.

US Airways flies to about 31 different countries. 1 of which I have already logged in my passport.

I have the ability to fly to each of these countries for close to free until I turn 24 which is in 554 days (August 27th, 2010).

I don’t think I’ll be able to hit all of them as I think it would mean I’d have to make each trip about 18 days long, and back to back, which is obviously a waste of time, and way beyond my means.

So I suppose the best I can do with my few remaining days of flight privileges is to hit as many as reasonably possible. I think I can hopefully make it to Italy this spring, and maybe Mexico before that. That will bring me up to 3 for the year, leaving me 2 short of the pace needed to keep on track of the over arching goal.

But of course if I only do the bare minimum, I can’t see myself making it. So I need to arrange at least 6 more trips (including italy and mexico).

Bosnia and Canada might be easy to pick up…

There are twenty pages for inbound and outbound stamps in my (US) Passport. 4 on each page. I have 4 stamps so far, two from Panama and two from Spain.

Which means I have 19 pages or 76 spaces or 38 countries left.

My passport expires in 2017.

Which means I have 8 years left.

Which means I have to visit 4.75 different countries per year.
That seems manageable.
