Today I did the meditation I learned yesterday, and it went so well! I know it could have been better, but for a first try it was great. I even enjoyed it. I think it will help me focus and calm myself.

I just forget every day. I know I “should” do it but there are so many other things that I “should” do that this one gets lost. But it’s just 5 minutes. I’m gonna do it right before bed tonight.
I had to change this from “doing absolutely nothing” to “meditating or…” because as nice as it was to do absolutely nothing when I was at Bellin, it’s not possible to do that at home. When I know I have things I’m doing later in the day, or after the 10 minutes is over, I find myself thinking of them and not “doing nothing.” So I’ll need to do breathing exercises or meditate instead.
