pay off my credit card

I just paid off my credit card! Horray! I’m also getting more credit, but I’m about to also buy a Blackberry, which may be useful for work.

I’ve got another $175 left to go to pay down my credit card thanks to all the rhinestones that I bought for the Mr. Gay Wisconsin pageant.

I’m going to Madison for a much needed vacation first and I’ve got a few more things to buy for the competition. And then, I’ll use the rest to pay off a little bi more of my credit card, like $90 or something.

I paid for half of the UNITY Chicago registration on my credit card so now there is $175 left on it. I’m getting paid this week and I’m going to put in another $100 towards the UNITY convention. I haven’t even registered and paid down the hotel yet. But I prefer this method to my madness, because Chicago, to me, is going to be very much worth it with all the career opportunities that will be there.

So, as soon as I got my paycheck, I paid the first half of my credit card down. That brought me down to $184. So, hopefully, I’ll be able to pay this down in two more payments.

It’s official. I’m going to UNITY Journalists Convention in Chicago. That means I put $325 on my credit card and that is something that I’ll start working towards paying off. I plan to spend $100 each month to pay this thing down, while still maintaining the small savings account that I do have.

I did not get my tax return yet…grr…because I forgot to sign something but I will get it soon.

I just made another payment of $100. That will bring the final debt on my Bank of America card down to $30! Woo hoo! But, then, I’ll charge $300 to pay for my journalism convention and I plan to pay $150 down immediately. I hope that I can just fling my credit card out the window after all this. Having a credit card is not fun at all.

Okay, I have concluded that I do not have credit card debt. But I do cheer those who are working on paying their own credit card debt.

Right now, I have $150 on my credit card because I just bought tickets to see Avenue Q in Milwaukee! I’m soo excited! I’m seeing it with my friend John from the gay bar on March 1. He already gave me $63 (his ticket cost) so I’m going to deposit the money and use it to pay down the credit card.

Once I have gotten this credit card paid off, I will be charging it again on my professional growth trip to Chicago (the UNITY Convention) and start working on paying that down. I’m soo excited!

I also plan to check my credit score with another credit company in February. Here’s to 750, folks!
