... much of a year (thus far) ...
- one of my best friends was deployed to Iraq after he was told he wasn’t going because of a medical condition (blown ACL and surgery) that would prevent him being deployed;
- I totaled my convertible (and don’t remember anything 20 minutes prior to the accident up to the accident) and was hurt in the accident;
- I fell down a flight of stairs and broke my foot/ankle;
- I had to have surgery on my R foot/ankle – five pins and a plate inserted;
- I have been in a cast on my R foot/ankle for two months so far (no walking at all), and have at least one more month in the cast left;
- I have been trapped in my house for two months so far (because all entrances/exits to my house are at least one flight of stairs or more);
- one of my best friends got married and I missed the wedding because of my injury/cast;
- I’ve been bummed because of all the other things and have let my freelance jobs go to hell-in-a-handbasket; and
- tired of the first five-plus months of 2005, and hope the next six-plus are 100-percent better!
