Find $100 in change

I was so happy to find 2 pennies on the ground outside a concert on Friday night.

Then, on our way home, Husband found a $20 bill lying in the street! He said I could count it for the purposes of this goal, so now I am up to double digits: $22.84.

Found a penny!

There is no way I would have bothered to pick it up, if not for this goal.

Bringing the total to $2.81.

This past weekend, my folks were in town, and we found a trail of change on our way out of a brewery. All that change would have vastly increased my progress toward this goal, but it made my mom so happy, I let her keep it.

...and I just checked everybody else’s entries on this goal to make sure that my mom’s not on 43 Things :)

Found a dime on the ground and a euro on the floor of a shared hotel bathroom. It may well have been my euro to begin with, but hey, I found it.

At today’s exchange rates of 1.41 dollars/euro, that brings the total to $1.54.

For some reason, I really dig people’s entries on this topic. And I think this goal will make me pay more attention to my surroundings, which is definitely a good thing.
