Yes!

Yesterday, after a long inside battle I didn’t hit the snooze button but I got up immediately! I have no idea how I was able to do this, but it’s a really, really huge success for me. I’ve been trying putting my alarm clock at my desk, so I have to get out of bed to turn it off, but than I just get back to bed, taking my alarm clock with me so that I can hit the snooze button couple of times more… And yesterday I just didn’t do it! And I had time to drink my coffee and read the newspaper and I was nice for everyone, because I didn’t have to rush.
I have to admit that I’m really proud of myself :) Let’s now hope that this wasn’t the first AND last time.



So far, so bad...

Today was my first day of trying to get out of bed when my alarm clock goes off. I was so determined to do this that I decided no to hit the snooze button but to TURN OFF the alarm. Next thing I remember is a sound of the phone ringing… 1 hour later.
This is going to be really hard, I guess.

Thank God it’s Sunday tomorrow. I have one more day to prepare myself mentally and physically for that oncoming, terrible shock.
