start a blog

At first, I wanted my own blog to post about my adventures as a bride-to-be. Life interrupted, and I decided to focus my energies on actually planning my wedding and finding a new job rather than opining about it. Plus, I was having issues with WordPress, and I’ve been reluctant to figure out what that obstacle was. (Any hints??)

Now, I’m really wanting to create a blog for work. I feel it would be a great addition as a recruiting tool for prospective volunteers and for updating donors. And as a portfolio of what we really do as an organization.

I never really figured out the Wordpress thing, and honestly, I’m getting to express myself here on 43T more than I would anywhere else in a separate blog. So, I’m putting this on the back burner for now.

After months of telling myself I wanted to do start a blog and reading that WordPress was a lot of people’s favorites, I created one!

Only problem is that I can’t post to it like I thought I’d be able to….like any “normal” blog. What’s the deal? Do I have to comment enough on other people’s blogs before I get my own? Is your own blog not something you can do as a free feature? Did I miss something while setting it up??
