get the Davidson scholarship

This weekend is crunch time.

The entire portfolio is due at the place in two weeks; in order to make sure it gets there on time, I’m going to send it Monday. Fun.

Even though I’m lonely, being the only person doing this goal, at least it means I have less competition.

Basically, for those of you who have just stumbled across this, the Davidson Scholarship is a $50,000 scholarship offered for prodigious work in several areas, including literature, science, philosophy and music. I’m working in literature.

Progress so far: I’ve written my entire portfolio and given it to two of my teachers to serve as nominators. One of them, my current English teacher, has already written his nominating letter.
