My body fat percentage has come down, and that makes me happy. I’m not 100% satisfied with it, but I have other goals that are more important for me to focus on right now, so I’m accepting where I am, continuing to eat and exercise as I have been, and marking this done.

I am pleased to see that while still high, my body fat percentage is moving in the right direction.
I’m now down to 26.9%.
Last summer, after returning to the States and binge eating on all the delicious foods I had been craving (and not having access to in Morocco), I happened upon a chance to have my body fat percentage measured.
I had not had a measure taken since high school. In 12 or so years, my body went from about 20% fat to 35% fat.
My husband bought a scale for home, and one of its features is a body fat percentage count. I’ve lost about 6 lbs since the last time I weighed myself (maybe a week ago? The difference between being overfed by friends and family and preparing my own meals.) and since last September, my body fat percentage has dropped 1%. I’m happy to be moving in the right direction, but disgusted by the fact that my muscle has turned to fat.
