I should have been studying, but felt like painting.
I could not locate my water colors, so I instead used ink and acrylic..
Not really satisfied, per the usual, but it felt good to sit down and move some paint around.

Diana and I went to check this out yesterday, and ended up running into Jessica. We all three agreed that we have the supplies necessary, and the ideas in our heads, but we rarely sit down and get it out on paper/canvas/etc.
Its a shame too. I don’t know what I’m waiting for.. I feel inspired sometimes but do not take advantage of it.
While at the AI, I took some pictures of styles I was feeling, and would have sat down to paint something then and there, if I could have.
Now though, I have a list of BS phone calls and chores I need to do all morning. I’m thinking that this is showing me that if I want to paint, I need to make time for it.
Last night, as I was tossing and turning and trying to fall asleep, I was struck by an idea for a painting.
I need an old book, with yellow pages. I will tear them out, paint them with water colors, allow them to dry, and then craft them into paper flowers. And I’ll give them to Jessica for her birthday!
