pray

I pray throughout the day now and give thanks throughout the day for going through it. At the end of the day I pray and read my Bible and I feel a lot more at peace in the midst of any situation. God is good.

I am finding it easier to pray more and more throughout the day. God knows my heart and He knows what I want to say, and so I say it, just like I’m having a face to face conversation with someone. It really helps me and keeps me calm even when I am under a lot of stress. I’ve gone through some major changes in my life (haven’t we all) and have found that prayer is the only thing that has kept me going. I don’t just pray when things are going wrong, I pray when things are going well. God deserves the praise no matter what the situation is.

I was talking to Him while I was washing dishes today, while I was in the shower, and while I was cleaning out the refrigerator. The one thing I want to establish is a set time where I can focus my attention on Him instead of while I’m doing other things. That’s good, but I need more time. He needs more time. He deserves it.

I would like to pray more for others around me, whether I know them or not. We are living in some serious times and we all need to be protected by the blood of Jesus.
