Utter crapulaciousness. This going to bed before midnight goal is going utterly utterly utterly craply. My best failure was on Wednesday when I went to bed at 4am. Yes… 4am. So, I am going to try this again – starting tomorrow (Monday). I will achieve this, I will achieve this.
My no-swearing and no-whingeing goals went pretty well, to be honest. I’ve had a good week in that regard – so two stars for me!
This week I am going to ensure that I am in bed before midnight. Right now it is almost 2am (I am on holiday – so it isn’t as bad as it sounds!). But from now on it’s going to be a curfew of midnight. Just you watch me!
It’s been a taxing week because of the problems with my boss (I’ve resigned to take up a new job and she’s, well, to be honest I don’t want to talk about it anymore). So the whingeing is sort of to be expected. However I’ve really made an effort to look beyond it, and just accept it. So I reckon I get 5 out of 10 for this goal. But the swearing has been pretty good – I’ve hardly sworn all week. In fact, I don’t think I have sworn. Gold star for me!
This week I’ll abstain from eating dessert, and whingeing (since I need more practice at this!).
This week’s double whammy is to not swear (My God that one will be hard), and to stop whingeing like a great big whingeing thing. I’m not promising to be stupidly optimistic instead, but to just not whinge. OK?
I thought that I had succeeded this week… only to just find out that I was doing the No-Sudoku+No-Sugar goal. That was last week. This week was no sugar and no swearing. I promise you that I absolutely have not succeeded in not swearing this week. Nope.
Bugger it – I like swearing – so I’ll not try that goal again.
This next week will still be the no sugar, but I’ll add ‘no late nights’. Note: I is 1.15am now… so obviously this goal will begin tomorrow!
I failed – pretty damned dismally, as a matter of fact – with the no-sugar-for-a-week. I’ll have no teeth left if I continue at this rate.
So, next week’s abstaining thingies are to be Sugar (again). I’m not sure what the next one is going to be. Should it be not licking my plates clean, or not sticking chewing gum under the seat, or not rinsing the bath after I get out and instead leaving it all scummy with bits of hair and soap bubbles, or not washing up more than once a week? Nope. I think it’ll be swearing. I love swearing – but I need to keep it to myself.
So, no sugar, and no swearing. Wish me luck!

I am going to try and alternate a healthy/lifestyley one with something else. But for the first week I want to break my awful online Sudoku addiction… plus tell the Easter Bunny how much I disapprove of what he is doing to my teeth, skin and to the numbers on the scales when I step on them.
So, for this week it’ll be no sugar and no Sudoku. How hard can that be!
