Rear Window 4 months ago

Last weekend, we saw the 1954 classic Rear Window, starring Jimmy Stewart and Princess Grace. I really enjoyed the movie, and it hardly felt 112 minutes long. That made me realize something: great movies--classic movies—don’t feel long. It’s not that you have to be entertained every second, but something about the movie keeps it from lulling into boredom.

Vertigo 9 months ago

This past weekend, I saw Vertigo. The nun at the end really freaked me out. I thought it was OK, but, as far as I’m concerned, Psycho was the best and nothing has quite lived up to that. Still have to see Rear Window.

So far, I’ve seen:
  • Rebecca (a lot better than I expected)
  • North by Northwest (eh)
  • Psycho (friggin awesome)
  • The Birds (eh)
