I’m trained as a lawyer, but I’m waiting for the bar results. So in the interim, I’ll teach LSAT prep classes part-time for Kaplan. I was never a big believer in test prep, but now that I’m being indoctrinated, I’m seeing the value of it. I’ve also always had a closet desire to teach, so we’ll see if it really works out for me. If so, I might be able to pursue this as a full-time career in a while.

Over the past twenty weeks or so, I learned that I really enjoy advocating on somebody’s behalf and fighting through the legal system. So it seems like I (luckily) stepped into the right line of education after college. I’ve had the opportunity to “try” four cases to a jury of my classmates and two more to a judge. I did pretty well and thought it was so much fun that I think I’m going to try to make a living doing that. Hopefully the real world is as fun as the classroom was.
