be closer to God

went to church today… it felt like I’d gone home after a really long trip. It was refreshing… My boyfriend is on the same search as me… We are helping each other through this journey. It can be hard, and I appreciate his company and support. We are from different religious backgrounds, but I think it will all work out fine. We are both willing to try new things. So, we will be going to a new church next week or the week after… We are working together to find where each of us belongs… same place, or not….

I’m going to church again… after a couple years, I’ve decided I want to go back nad rediscover my passion for Christ. I want to have that warmth in my life again.

My soul has felt lost and empty during my league of absense. I have found that to really be close to God, you need to enjoy activities that permit it. If you dont live for him, you can’t be with him. I want to read the bible, go to church, have more Christian friends (along with my friends), pray more, learn about God… and just live by his word and love.

It's time to recommit...
