find work I'm passionate about

And today I gave up my job (or decided not to renew the contract at any rate..!). How exciting!!! And, I’m almost about to accept the next one (one which I am much more passionate about). Funny how the timing of these things goes isn’t it? Ideally you’d have accepted the new before deleting the old, but I had to have the chat with my boss today. He’s been great, and I’ve been flexible too, so it’s all good karma. Oh my God I am so excited and bubbling away here by myself till everyone else gets out of work!!!

He said ‘yes, ‘yes’ a lot to what I was proposing (which is a way of working that achieves their objectives but also leaves me with the work life balance that I have decided I need) and he said he’s be in touch… So it wasnt an interview, we’ve already had those, more of a chat, and I htink it went well. I wait and see.

Takes a bit of time to work out that you are totally happy to move on from the current job / career. I think I have had that time now, and am feeling more capable of making the decision to leave. Think i’ve made it in fact, have a meeting with the potential new employer tomorrow… glad they waited for me.

I need to find out what I am passionate about I guess
