Alright. Saturday I attempted to at my friends house. At first one of my friends was holding it, then when he let go it whent to the side and I jumped off before I fell.
But then he said to just walk and pedal for a second to get a handle on my balance. And that was working much better.
After a few minutes we gave up though. =]
Another day though, I shall try again! It was a positive expierence. I feel I can do it for sure.
Well. My parents tried to teach me when I was younger, but that didn’t work out.
My logic as I got older whenever someone suggested I tried to learn was, “Why bother, I’ll be able to drive soon enough.”
I’m seventeen now, and finally got around to getting my permit the other day.
But, you know what? I really would like to learn how. It’d be a good form of exercise, and useful if I ever moved to the city or something. Plus I don’t want to be older and have kids and be the mom who can’t teach her own kids how to ride a bike, you know?
