Grow in Christ

I bought a new bible to help me along my journey. Almost 25. I’ve had the other one for a good ten years.

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything under this particular goal, but I’m still here. I’m still believing in Him and His word and I’m ready for the wonderful lessons He’ll share with me in 2009.

My main goal for 2009 is to find a church that I’m completely comfortable going to. I want to be apart of a community and have fellowship with other people as they continue on their walk with God.

Church was awesome today.

The sermon was about a Father’s love and it really touched my heart because of the problems that I’ve had with my own father within the past three months and it really made me think about sitting down with my father and talking about all of our differences.

This is an on going thing. I dont think anyone can ever truly complete this goal because no one is perfect and we all have moments where we think we can solve problems ourselves instead of putting it in the hands of the Lord. I re-started my journey with Christ my freshman and although its still going strong, I know that He is nowhere near being done with me. Right now, I would say my main goal for growing in Christ would be to find a church that I would be comfortable at here in the Denton area.
