#26-30  — 11 months ago

26.)Compliments from strangers (that aren’t creepy).
27.)The fact that I can (only verbally) “sexually harrass” people at work and not get in trouble because I’m a decent looking chick. (oh, boys, is it a double standard? Well so are our uneven paychecks, so suck it)
28.)video games! even though I stink at them!
29.)Getting lost but then finding my way in a generally short amount of time.
30.)Watching the scale’s numbers drop

21.)saying something before someone is about to say it, or while they are thinking it, and feeling connected to them.
22.)playing with other people’s babies.
23.)Reading a funny book that sparks the joy of books back into my soul.
24.)Fantasizing. Our brains are amazing!
25.)Watching TV show DVDs instead of watching them when they actually occur on the television- I love ad-free entertainment.

the fact that I’ve had this goal up for awhile and find it pretty difficult to come up with entries means its a good thing therapy sessions are on the horizon haha.
ok lets see…
16.)discovering new music
17.)Getting ridiculously high scores on aptitude tests geared for the general population (makes me feel smart)
18.)meeting new friends
19.)meeting new puppies! I love other people’s dogs.
20.)getting a haircut and feeling good about the way I look for once.

I hope none of those are repeats…

11.)The last day of exams. That was today. It was a horrendous semester, and only 8 credits at that. Relieved its over.
12.)Getting A’s- I didn’t actually GET any A’s this semester, but it made me remember all the times I DID, and how gratifying it was.
13.)Dial soap for men. I don’t know why its for men but I use it anyway and I love it! Simple pleasures.
14.)Darts!- its fun even though I stink at it!
15.)Bowling- We’re probably going to do an amateur summer league. only $9! two hours and pizza hell yeah!

6.)The internet. I used to wonder what I used to do without it. Did I play outside? No, not really. I used to read a lot. So I’ve moved on from reading analog to reading digital. And boy do I love me some MSN billiards.
7.)Billiards- since I mentioned it, I suppose its one of the 100 things that makes me happy. I like playing real pool over internet pool, but real pool costs money. And I don’t have much. I’d like to get a real pool table one day.
8.)college- this is a love/hate relationship. In general, going to college makes me happy. Right now its actually making me neurotic. It is really hard this semester. During easier semesters though? Love it!
9)October- I moved from Florida to Maryland and I don’t like it, but one of the perks is beginning the fall and winter season in October, with crisp air and hot apple cider and a trip to a farm on the weekend to get a pumpkin for a jack o lantern. Sometimes I wish I had kids between october and january. part timers, that would be nice. ;)
10)photography- when i finally let myself go and take pictures, its a very satisfying experience. I prefer the old school film SLR, but I’m trying to get used to this digital camera stuff. I actually don’t like seeing the pic after I took it. It makes me lazy in one way, OCD in another. If you take photos as art then you totally understand that claim.

#1-#5. none of these are in order, by the way.  — 1 year ago

1.) My Dog.
My boston terrier makes me insanely happy. I try not to baby her too much, so that people don’t think I’m a ‘crazy cat lady’ just with my dog.
Its kind of sad that she has more personality than 1/4 of the people I encounter every day, but this is a happy list, I should not mention such things.
2.)Coffee and diet pepsi.
I don’t think they need separation. basically one’s hot caffeine, one’s cold. They make me feel good. I’m a drug addict I guess. Good think I’m not LDS.
3.)My husband.
Maybe this is in order. I really love coffee. Nah, I love Jason more. ;) He’s help me make my life exponentially better than it was before I met him. I am more independent and confident now than I ever have been, largely in part to our relationship.
4.)Music.
I love to sing, play and listen to music. I really miss marching band, not the instructor or my parents or the dreaded heat but definitely the comraderie. Karaoke is not nearly popular enough. Its such a rush! And listening to the right song at the right time has always been a mood lifter for me.
5.)That I am a US citizen.
There are only two other countries I would be willing to live in. England or Germany. I love America though, yee haw! No place in the world allows such freedom of self expression. I appreciate that every day.
