sunflower — 12 months ago
it finally bloomed. awww.
I got it back last week but haven’t had a chance to share. Its two forms of art (Sorta) painting and photography (only its barely qualifying as ‘painting’ and the photography isn’t meant for artistic purposes…just to show my mug!)
I’m going to add more to this as comments.
these flowers are growing on the other side of my patio. I almost pulled the plants out because i didn’t know they weren’t weeds! Today I saw they bloomed into these gorgeous (and probably expensive) flowers!
I’m going to add comments with pictures of the same plant just from different angles.
Well its a rotten pic but the birds only come back to the nest at night and they aren’t on a “real” balcony so I have to take it through a window!
I thought this was funny, they’re really full grown, I guess they aren’t ready to leave the nest yet! big babies!
I’m going to post the ones growing in the ground on this post, and then comment myself and show the ones in the pot.
but the gawddam squirrels came and dug one of them up. I put it back but i don’t have a good feeling about it. I have four seedlings in two different places. The quirrels haven’t found the one behind the column yet, hehehe.
my condo has a nice porch. we have two squares of grass my puppy adores to lay in to bask in the sun. No sun today, but took a few pics anyway. This is one of those obnoxious lawn ornaments! But I love it so! its a dragonfly.
We painted on the porch with some old indoor housepaint and a couple of canvases we had lying around.
When we bought the condo in December, it was kinda dumpy. THe porch had that green carpet, and had big holes of dirt where plants could go, all sorts of terrible shelving and screws and mismatched flower pots that looked trashy. WHile I was in FL my husband and his dad fixed it up and put grass in the dirt holes for doggie emergency use! HAnnah is loving it already.
