Practice random acts of kindness

today i was in a fender bender. the lady hit me and was mad because i felt dizzy. she didn’t hit me hard she said. i looked at her and wondered where our humanity has gone. where has simple kindness walked to? i will vow to be kind to others no matter the circumstances so that i can love deeper and better than ever before.

We believe that the Lord blesses those who bless others. When I was in college, Nedra Kirby from Pulaski, Tennessee used to bring my groceries and tell me that she had “extra.” She knew I didn’t have money for food and through her kindness I understood another element of being blessed. I want to bring kindness to the forefront of my being. I want to be known as a kind person and I want to challenge my children to be kind.
