i haven't been on here in a while... 2 years ago

but i’ve made some slow progress :) i’ve basically changed my diet around and that helped out A LOT. i cut out all the junk and i actually started to exercise rather than just exercise when i feel like it. exercise helps so much because before i did, i used to get really bad back pain. when i exercise enough, it goes away and my doctor recommended that i continue exercising in order to keep the pain away.

so, for now, here are my stats:

starting weight: 147
goal weight: 125-130ish
current weight: 141.5

i’m slowly getting there! summer is my rebuilding time!



so i'm 3 weeks into the dance workshop... 2 years ago

and here are my stats since my first weigh-in! i’m uber excited!

HW: 147
CW: 142!!!
GW: 125-130

five pounds in 3 weeks! that may seem slow to some, but i have all the way until may. so if i lose about 5 pounds a month, i should make it in plenty of time… plus, the workshop is going to turn into musical/dance practice almost every day, so i’ll be even more in shape.

i just got back from that dance workshop... 2 years ago

& i am SORE! my shoulders are killing me, but i feel so energized! i am sorer (idk if it’s sorer or more sore… either way sounds odd, =]) this week than i was last week after it, so i take that as a good sign.

i just had a healthy lunch and i’ve been drinking from a 20oz bottle of water, constantly refilling it since i got home. i’ll be weighing myself sometime tonight or tomorrow morning.

i weigh right around 10.5 stones. for some reason, i like using stones better… maybe because it makes the number of pounds seem smaller.

well, for 2007, i’m off to a good start. i have yet to weigh myself and will probably be able to on friday at my best friend’s house, since i do not have a good scale.

our school is having a musical workshop for the musical footloose =] (for those of you who don’t know footloose = a whole lot of dancing). after the first saturday class, i felt so energized. i plan to get in shape using this to my advantage.

once i find out my weight on friday, i’ll use that as my starting point for the year.

After I got food poisoning from a McDonalds grilled chicken caesar salad on New Year’s Eve (I know, of all nights…), I had a mini-revelation.

Fast food = bad.

It only lasted about 6 hours, but it was a nightmare to deal with. I feel like I lost a pound or two just from it. I don’t know, I try not to weigh myself because looking at the scale bothers me sometimes. I’m on a plateau at the moment at 147 pounds.

i was looking for support 3 years ago

from my mom on this & she suggested the south beach diet for me. truthfully, i don’t feel i need it because i’m not very overweight. that diet cuts out a lot of the things i eat normally including bread and yogurt. she also said that we’d start after the holidays, so that i don’t have to watch portions on christmas day.

well, so much for support.

i’ve decided to start today because the sooner i can start, the better i can understand how to manage my intake at christmastime. & i definitely don’t want to go on the south beach diet. it’s just too much for me.

so, for a start today i had a bowl of cheerios with a banana & skim milk. not bad right?

i am going to lose the weight and the flab! i really need to work on exercising & watching portions. so, instead of focusing on the weight, i’m going to be presenting my inches as i go along.

height: 5’1”
weight: 147.5
bust: 38”
waist: 35”
hips: 42”

i start exercising more tomorrow!

I’m trying to justify my reasons for losing weight. I’m comfortable with my body, but my thighs and my stomach are what bother me. I want to be able to lose the flab and read a healthy yet amazing weight on my scale. So, here’s my stats; tell me if you think I should lose the weight.
